The Chemical Biology in the Department of Chemistry at Fudan University is a new division established recently and is being rapidly developed. Currently more than twenty faculty members in the Department are working in this area. We are also active in the interdisciplinary research centers, such as the Key Laboratory of Chemical Biology for Protein Sciences of Shanghai and the Institutes of Biomedical Sciences of Fudan University. The researches in the Chemical Biology Division are mainly focused on proteomics methodology and application, structure and function of proteins, developing and using microscale chemical tools, single molecule detection methods, nano-biomaterials,  bio-inorganic and bio-organic moleculars to investigate the underlying biology or create new function.
