简历：PhD in University of Birmingham (UK) in 1996, postdoctoral associate at the University of Birmingham (UK) in 1996–1997 and at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997–1999, full professor at the University of Miami in 2009.
Research Interests and Subjects:
nthe identification of operating principles to activate fluorescence, under the influence of chemical and optical stimulations, with the ultimate goals of detecting cancer cells, imaging biological samples with spatial resolution at the nanometer level and monitoring dynamic processes in real time within living organisms.
nthe chemical synthesis of molecular, macromolecular and supramolecular constructs with the characterization of the electrochemical, photochemical and photophysical properties of the resulting materials.
