合成结构新颖的新型稀土有机化合物及揭示新型稀土金属有机反应。
基于稀土化合物促进的新有机反应，开发新型稀土金属有机催化剂。
研究以富勒烯为代表的碳基材料与稀土金属的键合作用，开发新型稀土碳簇复合材料。
2002年获新世纪谢希德奖
2005年获上海市科技进步三等奖（第三排名）
